The woman driving prominent Atlanta attorney Claud “Tex” McIver when he shot and killed his wife is finally speaking about the incident.

The account by Dani Jo Carter, a close friend of McIver's wife Diane, raises new questions as to exactly what happened in the Sept. 25 shooting. Her version of events includes a discrepancy with Tex McIver's early account, a discrepancy which focuses on the very moment the gun went off.

Tex McIver has said the shooting was accidental. Atlanta police continue to investigate and have offered few details.
