DeKalb Schools cancels after-school activities due to approaching storms

After-school activities and programs have been canceled due to inclement weather, DeKalb County School District officials said Wednesday afternoon.

Basketball playoff games involving Lithonia and Miller Grove high schools will go on as scheduled.

ExploreA line of severe storms heading toward metro Atlanta prompted storm and tornado warnings across the region.

Strong and isolated severe storms are expected for parts of metro Atlanta Wednesday.
