Two people remained in the Fulton County Jail Friday on charges of reckless conduct almost a week after a toddler was found alone, wandering behind a Union City liquor store.

According to Channel 2 Action News, a passerby saw a woman walking away from the boy in an alley on Sunday. The passerby, who identified herself as Megan to the station, said she followed the woman from the store on Londonderry Way to a nearby fast food restaurant where she met a man.

She got the tag number on a pickup the two were in and gave that information to police who arrested Calvin Simon and Iyunna Johnson.

In the meanwhile, store employees watched the little boy and gave him something to eat.

Employee Brianna Harrison told Channel 2 he ate bananas, French fries, and a hamburger.

Johnson told police Simon was her boyfriend and the child was his little brother, WSB reported.

Both allegedly said they had a fight while they were babysitting the toddler and each thought the other was with the boy, who was returned to his legal guardian.

Both were still in jail Friday, according to police.
