A man who told authorities he is a rapper was robbed early Sunday morning at the Hilton on Courtland Street, Atlanta police said.

Officers responded to the call at 3:50 a.m. and found a man who told them that three armed males entered his room, tied him up and robbed him.

The suspects stole approximately $7,000 in cash and $20,000 worth of jewelry, police said.

No other information was immediately available.
