Cops: Man, teen had relationship for ‘several months’

A Roswell man was arrested after police say he had a relationship with a teenager.
Jason Champion, 42, was charged with statutory rape and enticing a child, Channel 2 Action News reported.
Police say Champion met the 16-year-old girl through a dating site called “Hot or Not” that allows members to rate the attractiveness of user-submitted photos.
The two then communicated through Kik, a messaging app.
“The relationship had been taking place for several months,” Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said.
The girl’s mother called police when she found out, Holland said.
Champion was taken to the Fulton County jail.
