A man was shot and killed Wednesday morning and two others are in the hospital with gunshot wounds after what police called “a robbery gone bad” at a Fulton County hotel.

The confrontation happened around 9 a.m. at the A2C Budget Hotel on Shirley Drive, according to Fulton police spokesman Lt. Scott McBride.

He said the man who died and another person were robbery victims.

A fourth person, who is considered a suspect, remains on the run and was driving a black 2000s-model Mercedes-Benz, McBride said.
