A Rockdale County crash sent seven people, including six children under the age of 11, to a hospital Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Just after noon, deputies responded to I-20 East just past Sigman Road to find the crash scene, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. A vehicle had overturned, ejecting four children during the wreck.
The sheriff’s office did not say whether any other vehicles were involved in the crash, and no conditions were provided for those who are injured.
The wreck blocked all lanes of I-20 East at times for investigators, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
