At least 15 people were injured Saturday evening in a multivehicle wreck that shut down I-20, Atlanta police said.

The wreck occurred in the eastbound lanes just before exit 10B for I-285 in Fulton County, Sgt. John Chafee said. Between 15 and 20 people were taken to the hospital.

Some people were seriously injured, he said, though most suffered minor injuries.

At 11 p.m., all eastbound lanes were shut down as police investigated the crash, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
