Officials are investigating after a man’s body was found under the fence of a southwest Atlanta home Tuesday morning.

Atlanta police made the discovery just after 9:45 a.m. at a home in the 3800 block of Adamsville Drive, according to department spokesman Officer Anthony Grant.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner was called to extract the man's body from under the fence.

Officers at the scene found the man underneath a fence on the side of the home, he said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

An autopsy will determine the man's cause of death.

It is not clear how the man got under the fence. The investigation was handed over to the Fulton County Medical Examiner, who is working to “extract” his body from under the fence, Grant said.
