A body was located Monday night in southeast Atlanta, according to police.

The cause of death had not been determined late Monday, and the body had not been identified, according to Officer John Chafee with Atlanta police. The body was located near the intersection of Swallow Circle and Harper Road, near South Bend Park.

Shortly after 7 p.m., a caller to 911 reported an odor in the area and a possible body wrapped up in plastic.

Police declined to release additional details late Monday.
