The Henry County Sheriff’s Office reports that the baby reported abducted Wednesday morning in Barrow County is safe.

According to the sheriff’s office, a caller on the interstate spotted the car.

Henry County police tried to pull the car over. The woman driver ran from them in the car, and police gave pursuit.

The woman got off on Exit 201 and drove into a wooded area just off the interstate.

The baby is safe, not harmed.

The female driver is in custody, the sheriff’s office reports.
