It was an unrelated call to police that led authorities to find one of two missing Alpharetta girls, both the subject of a statewide Levi’s Call, near a Covington hotel, police said Wednesday afternoon.

Desire Hall, 16, was walking in a local parking lot just before 8:50 p.m. Tuesday when police found her, Alpharetta police said in a Facebook post.

She told them a man had dropped her off.

The search continues for 13-year-old Brooklyn Smith, police said.

The girls went missing from Main Event Entertainment Saturday night.

Both teens are under supervisory control of the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services, police said.

“We believe Brooklyn contacted her father to pick both of them up,” Alpharetta police said in another Facebook post.

Brooklyn went missing from Hall County in July, and she was found more than a month later with her father, Steven Spires.

“There is an existing court order which prohibits any contact between the father and daughter,” Alpharetta police said.

Authorities have not been able to find Spires.

Brooklyn, who is 5-foot-7 and weighs 100 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a camouflaged jacket and pants, a Florida Georgia band T-shirt and brown cowboy boots.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 678-297-6307.
