A man was shot in the stomach in southwest Atlanta on Wednesday evening, according to authorities.

Police said they were answering a person shot call when they found the man in the 3000 block of Landrum Drive around 7:15 p.m. The unidentified man was stable when he was sent to Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta police spokesman Sgt. John Chafee told AJC.com.

Authorities have not released information about a suspect or motive.
