Clayton County cops investigating motel shooting

Clayton County authorities are investigating a shooting at a motel Thursday night.

A man was found with a gunshot wound at the America’s Best Value Inn & Suites off Mt. Zion Parkway in unincorporated Morrow, Clayton County police said. The man, who was shot in the leg following some sort of argument, was taken to a hospital. His condition was not released.

While authorities have not announced an arrest in the case, Clayton police spokeswoman Sgt. Julia Isaac said the victim knew the shooter.
