Police have released the names of two men shot and killed Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of a popular Cobb County shopping center.

The double shooting took place just before 6 p.m. at Cumberland Marketplace along Cobb Parkway in Smyrna, Sgt. Louis Defense told AJC.com

The victims were identified Saturday as Ronald Green and Casey Emmert. It’s unclear what led to the shooting, and authorities are still searching for the suspect.

“We’re looking for a male, but we don’t know his name yet,” Defense said. “We’re combing through videos and trying to get more information.”
