The body found in the trunk of a car in Atlanta on Friday has been identified as a 19-year-old man who had been missing for nearly two months.

Atlanta police found Devontavius H. McClain in the trunk of a car registered to him and parked behind an abandoned apartment complex late on Friday.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office could not yet determine the cause or time of death as of Sunday morning, but APD Officer John Chafee told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Friday that the “vehicle appears to have been here for some time.”

McClain disappeared from Griffin on April 20, but foul play was not suspected at the time, according to a Griffin police press release.
