Baskin-Robbins celebrated a new moment in franchise history Wednesday, opening a "next generation" store in California, KFSN reported.
The national ice cream chain, which was founded in 1945, unveiled its modernized store design -- called Moments -- at a Fresno restaurant, KGPE reported.
"This store is the first Baskin-Robbins location in the world that features the modernized design, which will give guests an entirely new and engaging experience when they visit Baskin-Robbins," the company said in a news release.
A national rollout will begin next year, KGPE reported.
As part of its modern design, Baskin-Robbins will introduce "ice cream novelties," featuring premium, hand-dipped and snackable frozen treats, according to the news release.
