A 21-year-old Austell man died Friday night in a single-vehicle wreck in south Cobb County, police said.
Jaquayle Wilson was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Impala southwest on Riverside Parkway near Hartman Road just before 10 p.m. when, “for reasons unknown, the vehicle left the roadway and traveled onto the grassy shoulder and collided with a tree,” Cobb police spokesman Mike Bowman said.
Bowman said Wilson was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
A juvenile in Wilson’s vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Bowman said. The passenger’s name and condition were not immediately available.
