Don’t be fooled by balmy weather Sunday. The dreaded S word could come again.

Clouds will keep temperatures mild Saturday night, creating a cloudy but nice Sunday, with highs near 60 in metro Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz.

But late Monday and into Tuesday, rain will move in as temperatures fall across the region. By Tuesday, the highs are expected to be only about 40 degrees.

“Some parts of metro Atlanta have the potential for sleet and snow,” Nitz said, with the best chances for problems in the north metro and mountain area.
