Atlanta police are investigating two separate overnight shootings, one of them fatal.

Channel 2 Action News reported that at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a call of a person shot at Lawson Street Southwest, under the I 20 overpass. He had been shot in the neck and leg and was taken to Grady hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identification was not released by mid-morning Saturday. And there was no arrest at that time.

Earlier, just after midnight, police responded to a call of two people shot near the Delmar Villa Apartments on Delmar Lane Northwest.

There a 16-year-old was male shot in the chest and a 58-year-old man shot in the foot.

There were no witnesses to the shooting, Channel 2 reported. Though the station said some people told police they saw a car speeding away from the area.
