Lawrenceville is accepting applications from residents who wish to serve on a city board next year.

There are about 60 positions available on nine boards, some of which are vacant. People appointed to these boards typically meet monthly and work with local officials, business owners and residents to help run the city.

“The City of Lawrenceville depends heavily on the involvement of the business community and its citizens to ensure the many facets of our city government serve our community in the most effective way possible,” said Mayor David Still in a press release.

Applications are due by October 1 and can be found on the Gwinnett city’s website.
