Justin Deion Turner, 23, has been charged in the shootings. Turner faces two counts of murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Police reported the victims were traveling in a SUV as they left the apartment complex.

“The ex-boyfriend of one of the victims proceeded to cut the SUV off with his vehicle before making contact with the occupants of the SUV,” police said in a news release. “Multiple shots were fired by the suspect before he fled the area.”

Officers who responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. found the three shooting victims on the ground near the SUV. A fourth occupant of the SUV was not harmed.

Turner was captured Monday in Atlanta.
