A patient at the Atlanta V.A. Medical Center near Decatur was rushed to another local trauma center late Friday morning after jumping from the hospital’s parking deck.
DeKalb fire Capt. Eric Jackson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the patient suffered “lower extremity fractures” after leaping from the third floor of the parking deck in the 1600 block of Clairmont Road.
A DeKalb police spokesman said Veterans Administration police were investigating the incident.
