Two people were arrested after a fight resulted in a vehicle driving into a southwest Atlanta grocery store Wednesday night, according to police.

Rico Mitt, 21, and Kent Williams, 28, were each charged with disorderly conduct, Sgt. Greg Lyon with Atlanta police said. Williams was also charged with reckless driving for the incident at the Kroger store in the 500 block of Cascade Avenue, Lyon said.

Investigators believe the two men had been in an altercation outside the store when Williams attempted to quickly drive out of the parking lot. Instead, he drove into the store, according to police.

Three people sustained minor injuries while trying to avoid being hit by the vehicle, Lyon said. No serious injuries were reported.

The store was forced to temporarily close Wednesday night for repairs.

Both men are being held at the Fulton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond, according to jail records.
