Alpharetta investigators are seeking a suspect in an arson case that destroyed two vehicles outside a local business.

Police said they were called to the Wild Wing Café at 5530 Northpoint Parkway early Sunday on the report two cars were on fire in the parking lot. Authorities said a black Toyota Avalon and a gray BMW parked adjacent to each other were both fully involved when they arrived.

Contacted by phone, the driver of the Avalon told police his wheels had been parked there since Thursday, that he had no way to retrieve the vehicle and that he didn't know the owner of the BMW. Both cars were taken to an impound lot.

Police spokesman George Gordon said there have been no arrests in the case and that the city's fire arson investigator is pursuing the probe.

There's no word of any injuries.
