Alpharetta Police are investigating whether a brash of thefts from autos in one neighborhood this week are related.

Authorities say a half-dozen vehicles were entered earlier this week in the 10 and 11-hundred blocks of Pine Grove Drive and the 14 hundred block of Preston Court. The thieves made off with a variety of items including cash, a 9 mm handgun, ear buds, gift cards and a breast pump. Police reports indicate most of the vehicles were unlocked.

Public safety department spokesman George Gordon said authorities are working to determine whether the crimes are linked, and are seeking suspects.

The neighborhood is east of Ga. 400 and North of McGinnis Ferry Road.
