An Alabama man flapping his "wings" is accused of attacking a police officer Sunday night, WTVY reported.
William Doran, 51, of Enterprise, is charged with second-degree assault and possession of marijuana, according to Dale County Jail records.
According to a report by Level Plains investigator Raemonica Cloyd, police answered a call about a suspicious person near a convenience store, WTVY reported.
“(The suspect) was reportedly standing in the roadway acting like a bird and also attempted to get into a passing motorist's vehicle,” Cloyd wrote in her statement, according to a news release from the Level Plains Police Department..
Doran then allegedly used a flashlight to attack the officer, who suffered head wounds, WTVY reported. She is expected to recover.
