The Piedmont Airlines employee, whose name was not released, was loading baggage onto American Airlines Flight 363 on Saturday. The man was in a pressurized cargo holder when the Boeing 737 took off from Kansas City International Airport, the AP reported.

Chicago police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said the man was found when the flight landed an hour later at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The handler told police he was drunk and had fallen asleep, Guglielmi said.

The man was sent back to Kansas City and no charges were filed, the AP reported.
