Gymnasts are known for catching the eyes of spectators with their flashy routines.

A member of the University of Illinois men’s gymnastics team recently wowed the crowd after sticking his landing after a stellar vault.

Sophomore Evan Manivong celebrated his career-high 14.750 in a meet March 22 against Minnesota by showing off his COVID-19 vaccination card.

Manivong reached inside his uniform and pulled out a card.

At first, no one knew what he was holding up.

“Not sure what that is ...” an announcer said after the pass.

The official Twitter account for the Illini men’s gymnastics team also didn’t know what it was.

“.@evanmanivong ties his career-high with a 14.750! We’re not sure what was on that card either...” a tweet from the account read.

Manivong eventually set the record straight.

“It’s my vaccination card... go get vaccinated everyone!” he wrote.

The video resurfaced this week after a tweet sharing the moment went viral. As of Tuesday afternoon, the video had been viewed more than 2.9 million times.
