An Acworth man died early Sunday in a single-vehicle wreck on I-75 near Kennesaw, police said.

The crash happened just after 4:30 a.m. on I-75 north of Barrett Parkway.

Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce said Troy B. Endres, 46, was driving a 2004 Nissan Titan northbound when the pickup truck left the eastern edge of the roadway.

“After doing so, the truck collided with a guardrail and large pole before overturning down an embankment,” Pierce said.

Endres, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected and died at the scene.
