At least one major metro event soldiered on through Sunday’s severe weather — others decided to pack it up.

Sweetwater 420 Fest — a popular music festival at Centennial Olympic Park — delayed opening its gates until 12:30 p.m. Sunday but, as of 1:30 p.m., no other issues had been reported.

"We'll letchya' know if there's a pause in the party," an alert on the festival's website said.

The 39th annual Big Shanty Festival in Kennesaw and Sandy Springs’ Artsapalooza, meanwhile, cancelled their Sunday festivities.

"Sorry to say - we are CANCELLING today's festivities Sunday April 19 - due to the tornado watch - we are so thankful for yesterday such a great community event and great turnout!!" the Big Shanty Facebook page said.

At about 1 p.m., the Artsapalooza Facebook page said it was closing up shop.

“We want to ensure our artists stay safe and as dry as possible, so we are shutting down early,” it said.

In Duluth, the final round of the Greater Gwinnett Championship — a Champions Tour golf tournament at Sugarloaf Country Club — was also called off.

Indoors at Philips Arena, the Atlanta Hawks will host the Brooklyn Nets at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the first game of their first-round playoff matchup.

MARTA was not reporting any weather-related issues.
