TRAFFIC UPDATE: Lanes reopen after crash blocked U.S. 78 leaving Stone Mountain

At times, all lanes were closed on U.S. 78 West heading toward Atlanta.

Traffic is flowing again after a crash on U.S. 78 West had traffic at a near standstill on the ride out of Stone Mountain early Tuesday.

The collision happened just past Memorial Drive in DeKalb County around 5:30 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. At times, all lanes were blocked. By 6:45 a.m., the road had fully reopened.

Officials have not said what caused the crash or if any injuries have been reported.
