Gwinnett County police are investigating after at least one person was killed in a neighborhood by the Yellow River on Wednesday afternoon.
Details are limited, but officials said it happened in the 600 block of Clearwater Place in the River Park neighborhood just outside Lawrenceville. The community is near the intersection of Lawrenceville Highway and Sugarloaf Parkway.
It is not clear if any other victims have been reported. Authorities have not said what led to the incident.
