Two teenagers died Sunday after shooting each other multiple times inside a car in Forest Park, police said.

Forest Park police responded to a shooting call at a gas station in the 700 block of Morrow Road just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday. They found the two gunshot victims inside a beige Toyota Avalon.

First responders attempted life-saving measures, police said. The backseat passenger, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released. The front seat passenger, Emonte Gunn, 19, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Two other passengers were not injured. Authorities aren’t sure what led to the shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact the Forest Park Police Department at 404-366-4141.
