Two people in a passenger car were rushed to a hospital Thursday morning after slamming into a tractor-trailer in Clayton County.
The two vehicles collided on Old Dixie Road near Conley Road, according to Clayton County police.
In a video of the accident scene posted to Facebook, the hood of what appeared to be a green SUV was smashed into the front seat. The front of a tractor cab was also damaged, and glass was scattered across the road.
The two occupants of the SUV were in critical condition, Clayton police spokeswoman Officer Aubriel Stroud said in the video. The tractor-trailer driver’s injuries were considered minor, she said.
Old Dixie was shut down in both directions due to the investigation.
