The Milton City Council recently approved an agreement with Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District regarding the pier construction at Providence Park.
The city has developed plans for a lake overlook/fishing pier on the north-west side of Lake Providence. The project requires the city to apply for a permit with Fulton County Soil and Water Conservation District ensuring protection of the facilities the District maintains there. The District is the sponsor for the Little River Watershed Structure #36, also known as Lake Providence.
There is not financial impact on the city from the agreement.
