Johns Creek Council member Chris Coughlin and city staff recently helped mark the completion of the Old Alabama Road trail project with an official ribbon cutting.

In February, the city approved two contracts totaling $426,866 to fill in gaps in the existing sidewalk system and improve mobility for pedestrians from Autry Vue Lane to the Falls of Autry Mill neighborhood on the north side of Old Alabama Road.

This completes the Old Alabama Road trail project that began several years ago to connect a 10-foot multi-use trail on the north side of the roadway between Medlock Bridge Road and Jones Bridge Road.
