The Braselton Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday in the courtroom of the Police and Municipal Court facility, 5040 Ga. 53 on a plan to create 110 attached single-family townhomes on Beaverdam Road.

The almost 25-acre property is currently in unincorporated Barrow County. Part of the plan presented by Pine Grove Partners would include annexation into the Town of Braselton.

The location for the development would have easy access to Ga. 211 and I-85. The area serves as a transition from commercial and industrial businesses to residential. The townhomes are proposed as a good choice for the nearby workforce and middle class.
