  • Concert Benefiting Alpharetta and Milton First Responders. 6-10 p.m. Friday (rain or shine). $46.70/general admission ticket. The Green at Crabapple Market, 12650 Crabapple Road, Milton. The Milton First Responders Foundation, Alpharetta Public Safety Foundation and John Driskell Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band will host this fundraiser. Consider adding $20 to your ticket purchase to allow a first responder to attend at a deeply discounted rate. Food and beverage will be available for purchase on site. Retired USMC Lt. Col. Roni A. Meyerhoff is the keynote speaker. Meyerhoff retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 2013 after a 23-year active-duty career that took him to more than 40 countries in a variety of assignments. In his final overseas tour of duty, he was the commander of the Marine Corps Logistics Command in Afghanistan. Returning as emcee for the event is U.S. Army veteran, Sandy Springs resident and former WSB-TV anchor John Pruitt. The Sandy Springs Police Department and the Sandy Springs Fire Department Honor Guard also will participate in the tribute. bit.ly/3BI48uy
