March 11, 2017‘Jeopardy!’ is iconic not only for its catchy theme song but also for its thought-provoking clues. But coming up with the hints is no easy task.
To make it happen, the game show’s nine writers spend their days creating categories and clues, which each must be accompanied by at least one source, with the help of their full-service reference library.
In a single day, five games are taped, and the show’s host, Alex Trebek, reviews up to 350 clues.
