Rumi’s Kitchen culinary team has curated a 5-course dinner for this exclusive event. The dinner includes wine pairings from Duckhorn Winery. GPB THE GREAT AMERICAN READ EVENT

Celebrate your favorite books by participating in the Great American Read, an eight-part television and online series designed to spark a national conversation about reading. This event features a discussion of themes, characters and settings in Southern literature. Panelists include Regina Bradley (Kennesaw State University), Andy Crank (The University of Alabama), and Erich Nunn (Auburn University) in a conversation moderated by GPB’s Bill Nigut. WEDNESDAY WIND DOWN IN THE POINT

Catch the finale of this weekly event at the Downtown Commons featuring Q. Parker and Daron Jones of 112 and Bobby Valentino. Other musical performances include Gritz & Jelly Butter and The Soul Cartel. Blankets and chairs are welcome, but leave your pets, tents, coolers and outside food and beverage at home.
