The Atlanta area is known for its plentiful parks and Alpharetta is no different. Residents take advantage of the walking trails and public parks that are the center of the community. Here are just a few of the green spaces and activities that make the suburb worth a visit.

Wills Park

Wills Park may be the busiest tract of green space on the Northside with playgrounds, tennis courts, Waggy World Dog Park, basketball courts and baseball fields. The Equestrian Center holds regional events all year, drawing thousands to horse and dog shows in its enormous covered arena. On warm weather days, residents swim in the Olympic-sized pool or run along the 2-mile asphalt trail. It also boasts a disc golf course and horse stalls.

Alpharetta Big Creek Greenway

The multi-use paved trail system has several entry points and connects with Roswell's Greenway north of Mansell Road behind AMC Mansell Crossing on North Point Parkway. You can start at Haynes Bridge Road, Kimball Bridge Road, Preston Ridge Road and Marconi Drive. It's also a great spot to spot wildlife like herons.

Topgolf Alpharetta

The entertainment complex is fun for both experienced and novice golfers. Indoor and outdoor hitting bays are climate-controlled, with servers providing food and drink. It's great fun, and fitness, for all ages.
