The weather may be warming up for running weather, but with swimsuit season around the corner and the pollen out in full force, it's always nice to have a little push in the healthier direction. Fortunately, just because you're slimming down doesn't mean your bank account needs to; Atlanta has an increasing amount of fitness offerings available for free throughout the city. Here are a few great options for the week ahead.

The warm-weather workout that quickly became a staple last year is back; Atlanta-based King of Pops will present free yoga classes right off the Beltline every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Old 4th Ward Skate Park. Instructor Charlie Baxter Graham is back too, guiding attendees through poses suited for yoga-lovers as well as those new to their practice. The classes are weather-permitting, so be sure to check back on the event's Facebook page during questionable weather.

Okay, yes--running is always free. But if what you're looking for in a fitness class is a group of like-minded motivators to see you through to your goal, you may want to take your running route by lululemon on Howell Mill, where they've teamed up with RunningNerds for a weekly run ranging from three to five miles. Flat Belly Pilates

These free happy hour classes throughout April are conducted by Flat Belly Pilates, a company that specializes in personal Pilates lessons they bring straight to you.
