History: When CaringWorks opened its doors in 2002, the agency's goal was to end homelessness in metro Atlanta. Now services and programs have been expanded to provide individualized care for those who suffer with mental illness, disease, drug addiction or chronic homelessness.

Did you know: In 2018, 827 men, women, children or veterans were safely housed in either short-term or long-term lodging and had access to medical and mental healthcare, childcare, job training and placement, substance abuse treatment and more. CaringWorks has a 93% success rate of having clients remain in stable housing following one year in the program.

Its motto: In its mission, CaringWorks intends to "reduce homelessness and empower the marginalized by providing access to housing and services that foster dignity, self-sufficiency, and well-being."

How you can help: Volunteers can either donate their time, talent or treasure at CaringWorks – from serving meals and providing administrative support in the office, to giving personal hygiene items, household supplies and cleaning products. Help creating social media posts is also needed.
