If you put “run a 5K” on your list of things to do this year — here’s one for your calendar.

The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival 5K will take place on March 21 at Blackburn Park.

Part of Brookhaven's sixth annual Cherry Blossom Festival, registration for the race is now open.

Early bird registration is $25 through March 12. Proceeds for the race will go to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The race will begin at 7:30 a.m.

There will be awards given out for top finishers, top fundraisers and the best “spring celebration outfit.”

All parking for the race will be at the Cowart Family YMCA at 3692 Ashford Dunwoody Road. There will be no parking at Blackburn Park on race day.

Packet pick up will take place at Big Beach Running in Brookhaven.

"Get your fastest 5K time on a great course, or just walk along and enjoy the beautiful spring Cherry Blossoms," a post on the race's website reads.

More information on the festival can be found here.
