Atlanta theaters hold special showing of documentary about dating culture

Three metro Atlanta movie theaters will host a one-night showing of the documentary “The Dating Project.”

The documentary examines how young people search for meaningful relationships in today’s internet- and social media-fueled society.

According to a description of the film it follows Kerry Cronin, a professor at Boston College and relationship guru, as she talks with college students on the problems of "hooking up" and "hanging out."

Cronin shows them how traditional courtship based on Christian values  can lead to healthier and deeper relationships.

The documentary will be shown at  7 p.m. Tuesday at the following theaters:

The documentary is presented by  by Pure Flix and Paulist Productions.
