Atlanta has swiftly grown into the Hollywood of the South. Home to the gargantuan Tyler Perry Studios and a bevy of Atlanta productions, films and television shows are made in the Peach State capital expeditiously each and every month. It’s a fast-paced industry that is moving faster by the second.

For those looking to join the fun, Casting TaylorMade — the extras casting company behind “Stranger Things” and “Stargirl” — is looking for extras interested in making an appearance on the feature film “JACKPOT!

Details about the upcoming feature film have not yet been released, but the hiring process for extras to be featured in the movie is well underway.

What are they looking for?

Casting TaylorMade is looking for a number of background artists to play various roles within the film, each of which are required to be available within the Atlanta area for the duration of the movie’s filming. Currently, the casting company is looking for a sightseeing tour bus passenger that looks like a “colorful tourist in LA.”

The company is also looking for an upscale tourist that looks “put together” with “clean, upscale looks” and casual clothing. A position is open for an upscale bistro server, particularly for anyone with actual server experience. Lastly, the company is looking for an upscale bistro hostess. Preferably, applicants will has previous hostess experience.

When are they filming?

Filming for “JACKPOT!” began March 3 and will end April 27, but dates could possibly change. Fitting, filming and mandatory COVID test dates for each role are available below.
