TMZ: Joe Jackson hospitalized in Los Angeles
Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, was recently in the hospital.
TMZ reports that Jackson, 87, was hospitalized Friday after he felt weak at a routine doctor's appointment.
Jackson was said to be battling a high fever, though that has not been confirmed.
TMZ interviewed Jermaine Jackson, who confirmed that his father had been admitted to the hospital but said he was feeling better. He said the family wants to hold on to their father as long as they can.
Jackson posted a photo of himself Thursday on Twitter, saying he was "100 percent alive."
