WABC paid tribute to Colagrossi, stating that, "She was dedicated to telling a story with honesty, a working woman, a hockey mom, she was gutsy and fearless." The news station commended her "authentic, steady, reassuring reporting" that also included a sense of humor. Colagrossi was also a well-respected news anchor.
Colagrossi covered news in the Tri-State region for 14 years. An Ohio native, Colagrossi’s career included stops in Orlando and Cleveland.
