Music artist Prince died April 21, 2016, at the age of 57. Here is a look back at the global tributes that were paid to the legendary artist.

Fans and media across the globe are mourning the loss of music legend Prince.

In addition to MTV playing Prince videos, celebrities mourning on social media and radio stations playing Prince's music, Prince's home state of Minnesota is turning purple in tribute.
